Nortel Meridian 1 Attendant Console (M2250) - course content (learning outcomes)


This training course will provide the delegate with the knowledge to manage calls using an attendant console. The course covers release numbers up to Release 25.

On successful completion of this course the participant will be able to:

  • understand the console and its workings
  • manage calls from the console
  • change system time and date
Course content:
  • introduction to the console layout and functionality
  • console operation - answering calls & transferring, toggling calls, re-calls, holding, recovering and parking calls, conference calls, storing and dialing system speed calls (if used), redial, setting Do Not Disturb
  • accessing DTMF tones, night service
  • administration - holding calls on loop key, using various console features, changing system time and date, customising the console
The course duration is half-a-day.
Prerequisite knowledge: none required.
The maximum number of delgates is three per session.
